D’Shaun made sure that I was “present” in my circumstances and take responsibility for what was going on in my life! She showed me that you may get knocked down but that’s never the end of the story! She taught me how to stand up and count myself in… to live with fidelity and assurance and to trust myself in the hard moments of life. I learned there is so much more in me than what I could see….
